    Flushing, NEW YORK, October 23, 2018 — In a year of continued recognition as a burial ground we are happy to announce a walkthrough of the Burial Ground’s new design with Mayor de Blasio, Borough President Melinda Katz and Councilman Peter Koo who each provided funding for the project. The design proposal from New York City Parks Department, who also maintains the Burial Ground, has received unanimous approval from Community Board 7, and has an anticipated 2020 date of completion.
